After 6 months in the design phase, we’re excited to announce that Dun Laoghaire Marina - located just outside Dublin - have given instruction to carry out the manufacture and supply of all new service pedestals and infrastructure!
Over the course of the last few months, we’ve already had 30,000kg of cable delivered to site and installed, replacing the ratty old cabling system that had seen better days – and had been plaguing the marina with issues – for years.
As part of this huge investment, we’ll be installing new 316L stainless steel distribution units throughout, along with water services and SOS stands. We’ll be installing the Platinum and Sterling range of products, allowing customers to have full control of services with an app-based payment and control system.
This year alone, we expect that 400+berths will be made live, with a further a 300+ berths to follow in the new year.
Incredibly, that brings us close to 2000 berths utilising the Triton system in Southern Ireland alone, with many local authorities using the system because of its incredible versatility. WIFI, GPRS and fixed wiring can be used for communication via either a cloud-based or an office-based server. Linking up with MMS software, the system offers a full solution for the marina staff.
